Based of the classic “Japanese” or “Dogs Head” this hammer is designed with the bladesmith in mind.  
All of these hammers are ground with a flat grind with well radiused corners making it ideal for forging blades. Weighing in at 2.5lbs with a 12” charred hickory handle this hammer is a great addition to your tool rack.
